BS BT02 BATTERY AND ALTERNATOR TESTER

The BT 02 is a simple LED battery and alternator tester designed to save time on electrical faults by giving an instant diagnosis. Fully automatic with everything built in, it cannot be used incorrectly: clip it to the battery terminals and read the LEDs.

For 12V lead acid batteries only.

Specifications:

Instructions:

1. Connect the red crocodile clip to the positive (+) battery terminal
2. Connect the black crocodile clip to the negative (-) battery terminal

Battery check:

• Switch on the vehicle lights for 1 to 2 minutes
• Disconnect the battery from the vehicle
• Wait 10 minutes
• Connect the tester and read the LED

Alternator check:

• Run the vehicle with all electrical equipment off (lights, radio)
• Run the vehicle with all electrical equipment on (lights, radio)
• Green LED on both tests: the alternator is good
• Red LED: the alternator is over-charging and must be checked
• No LED: the alternator may not be charging and must be checked
